Join us for a FREE fun-filled weekend as we kick off the racing season with the Annual Red Cedar Speedway Car Show on March 30th and 31st! Enjoy racecars, concessions, a swap meet, music, awards, raffles and camaraderie. Attendees will also be able to meet our new track mascot and help us choose a name for him so be sure the bring the kids! The show is back at the Dunn County Ice Arena this year.

Car Show

Come show off your 2012 ride! Cars from all six weekly race classes as well as Hornets and Enduros are invited. Drivers who bring a car can compete for best looking car in their class, will be entered into a drawing for awesome door prizes, and will receive one free 2012 pit pass (a $25 value)! There is no registration required. Car set up begins at 3pm on Friday, March 30th. The official car show will be on Saturday from 8am to 11pm with voting open until 7pm.

Awards

An awards ceremony for the 2011 Track Champions is the highlight of Friday’s events. The ceremony will take place at 7:30pm.

Awards for the best appearing car in each class will be presented at 7:00pm on Saturday. New this year is also a “Long Haul” category for a racecar brought in from outside the immediate area. The winners of all categories will then compete for “Best in Show,” to be announced during the second race night of the season.

Swap Meet

Bring your spare or extra race car parts to the annual Swap Meet and trade for something useful. The cost is $10 per spot. The Swap Meet runs from 8am to 12 noon on Saturday.

Fun Activities

Get back into the spirit of racing with the fun events throughout the weekend! Look forward to silent auctions, tasty concessions (pop, chips, brats, hot dogs, pork chops on a stick, beer, and more), music, dancing, and of course RACECARS! In addition, attendees will enjoy browsing vendor and commercial exhibits and be able to purchase racing apparel and memorabilia. Bring the kids to meet the Red Cedar Raccoon, our new mascot, and vote on a name for him.

Red Cedar Racing Association memberships, season passes, and pit parking will also be available for purchase. Drivers must renew last year’s pit parking spot on or before April 27th to guarantee the same location.
